Dress Form Tag Swap Theme: Television Show/Movie/Famous Person

What is a dress form Tag?  I wanted to know too, the topic seemed interesting and I wanted a challenge - what else is new!  There were all sorts of themes to choose from I selected Famous person or Television/ movie personality.  I knew I wanted to create either Lucille Ball's Navy and blue polka dot dress or Julia Roberts Brown and white polka dot dress that she wore to the Ascot.

Now to find the paper, it was pretty easy Archiver's had a brown and white polka dot paper by Canvas Corp.

I cut the top of the dress and crinoline under the skirt and the skirt by hand.
Forever Young Cartridge was used for the hat, gloves, and shoes
Everyday Paper dolls was used for the purse - I adapted the purse to make it look like the dooney that Julia carried.  I now would have changed the lack snap, to make it look like a darker brass.

The basic Tag is Ranger #8 Manilla, covered with White Linen background paper.  The dress form is Tim Holtz, I covered with a cream and white tapestry print paper from DCWV.

I used a fine sandpaper to sand the edges of the paper on the dress form die.  I chalked the edges with creative memories brown.

Boutinniere's a special challenge

I used the McGill Flower punch system and an idea from Martha Stewart for the poms.  Of course Tags, Bags, Boxes and More had to make a brief apprearance for the beautiful boxes.

These came as a result of a request by a fellow teacher that sides as a flower designer.  Both the fathers in the wedding were allergic to real flowers, could I create something that almost looked real?  I think I came very close.
